About Montcuq

Situated on the route for the Compostelle de St Jaques, the little village of Montcuq is popular with both locals and tourists alike.

Pretty village houses made from the local Quercy stone lead you through medieval streets and up to the 12th century tower, Here you can enjoy beautiful views over the village and its surrounding area.

Sunday is market day and during the summer months this spreads throughout the whole village and attracts visitors from near and far. It’s a good opportunity to learn about and sample some of the regions produce. Every Thursday morning throughout July and August there is also a smaller local producers market.
